Grove Atlantic is one of the most significant independent publishers in the US. Known to have fought the censorship laws, it has shaped the American literary culture as it is today. They’re the publishers of many iconic authors— from William S. Burroughs to Samuel Beckett to Roxane Gay.
At GA, I was the publicist for a number of New York Times bestselling authors such as Joyce Carol Oates, Lyndsay Faye, Boris Akunin, Yan Lianke, and more.
01 Press relations: securing press for emerging and established authors
As a publicist, I independently developed pitches, wrote press releases, conducted outreach to media professionals, and worked with social media influencers to promote several Grove Atlantic titles. I also partnered with bookstores in New York to organize book launches.
